ECVO Resident in Ophthalmology
Juan graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2015. After working in a busy small animal practice, Juan undertook a small animal rotating internship at a multidisciplinary veterinary hospital.
In 2017, he moved to the UK, where he worked as a GP vet for several years and completed a postgraduate certificate in veterinary ophthalmology.
Juan then joined Optivet Referrals in 2021, where he completed an ophthalmology internship and started the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists Residency Programme.
Outside of work, Juan loves to travel around the world, enjoy nature, look for adventures and cook for friends.
