Optivet Referrals London Expands to Waltham Forest
Optivet Referrals, Europe’s leading provider of specialist-led veterinary ophthalmology services, is continuing its expansion across Greater London with the launch of a new ophthalmology clinic in Waltham Forest on 9th June.
Following the successful opening of our first dedicated London ophthalmology service in Morden (CR4 4DB) in September 2025, this new location represents another major milestone in our mission to improve access to specialist veterinary eye care across Greater London.
Our Waltham Forest clinic will deliver the same specialist expertise, advanced techniques, and patient-centred approach that have established Optivet as the leader in veterinary ophthalmology. These are the same principles that underpin our Hampshire hospital, which manages more ophthalmology cases than any other centre in Europe whilst maintaining the compassionate, personal care that clients value.
Optivet London is led by Dr Gemma Turner BSc DVM MANZCVS FANZCVS MRCVS, Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology, supported by a dedicated ophthalmology team and the expertise of the wider Optivet network.
A second Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology will be joining the London team in September.
Plans are already underway for a third specialist ophthalmology location.
